I think part of the reason this touches my soul so deeply is because when I was 19, I moved to Germany 🇩🇪 to help run a Christian coffee shop, and I got to see, first hand, how powerful coffee shop ministry can be. It was life changing not only for the people we served, but for me as well.

Just met with the amazing team at UNIT-E @uniteresponse and we are 100% behind their mission… (which is God’s mission for us as believers) …. “To care for orphans and widows in their distress.”

This incredible team is not held back by fear, but they place their lives in the hands of our sovereign God and willingly go into war torn countries bringing the HOPE of the gospel. They’re also integral in undercover missions to stop human trafficking of children and young women.
These guys are the real deal, truly.

1) Please PRAY for them as they’re getting ready to minister in UKRAINE 🇺🇦 and THAILAND 🇹🇭 in just a few weeks. 🙏

2) If you’re able, please GIVE to this MISSION because there are people literally dying who need Jesus.

3) and if you’re a Christian, please GO and be a part of the Great Commission wherever God leads you…for the time is short. None of us are promised tomorrow.

This is my prayer on this high holy day of Yom Kippur, that the Lord would REFINE ME. 🙏 It sounds cute and cliche, but the refining process can be painful. It’s a separating, a cracking, a reshaping and it can be very uncomfortable. But I need to be done seeking my own comfort. I want to see an increase of the fruits of the Spirit demonstrated in every encounter I have, in my children’s hearts toward each other, and in the way we serve others.
I want to be refined by the Living God, so that my life can be a living testimony, that others might find salvation in Christ!
The situation is dire. There are people dying everyday that don’t know Jesus. May our hearts burn with passion to carry out the Great Commission, for none of us know how much time we have left. ⏰

It’s amazing how music can bring you right back to an era….these songs bring me back to when I was still in elementary school and learning about Jesus for the first time.

I’m a big supporter of children’s ministry because when I was little, my family wasn’t going to church….but I got involved in a Wednesday night Awana group. I started asking my mom questions about the Bible, and she figured “well I’m the mom I guess I better figure out the answer to these questions…” so she started going to church…then my whole family started going! 🥹

So if you’re a kids ministry worker, never under-estimate the significance of the work you’re doing. You’re planting seeds that will echo into eternity! 🌱

We want to thank you guys for your prayers for our family. By God’s grace we have survived Covid! It was a very rough couple of weeks and there were a couple times I was really concerned about our five-year-old… but God is merciful, and we have come out stronger! Our family has been hit with one of the worst sick

Our family has been hit with one of the worst sicknesses we’ve ever endured. And I can’t help but feel like it’s spiritual, at least in part.
When you’re on mission for Jesus, the enemy will try everything he can to thwart the spread of the gospel and the unity of the church.
I can’t remember a time (other than yesterday) when we didn’t honor our commitment to show up and lead worship…but this virus is so bad we felt strongly like we couldn’t risk spreading it.
Please pray for our children and my husband. They are very sick. It’s been a very hard past 7 days.
By God’s incredible kindness I’m feeling better enough to be nurse to everyone, and though my voice is not quite back, I wanted to share this old song.
It’s one of my deepest prayers. 🙏 That God would continually burn away all of my impurities and cause me to live wholly set apart for Him. 🤍
