This hat is inspired by: Exodus 28:36-37—. “You shall make a plate of pure gold and engrave on it, like the engraving of a signet, ‘Holy to the Lord.’ And you shall fasten it on the turban by a cord of blue. It shall be on the front of the turban.”
Peter tells us: 1 Peter 2:9-10 “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.”
Certainly wearing an inscription on our hats is not a matter of law or even obedience, but we think it’s a great reminder for ourselves to cover our hearts and minds with the truth that we have been made holy by the blood of Jesus. Also, it’s a great conversation starter!
